Asian stock markets today ended in the green. South Korea's Kospi advanced one and a half percent and Japan's Nikkei-225 traded 1.4 percent up. Singapore's Straits Times index appreciated 0.95 percent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index added 0.2 percent and  China's Shanghai Composite index rose 0.1 percent.

European stocks were mixed in intra-day trade. London's FTSE-100 advanced 0.7 percent. On the other hand, Germany's DAX was trading 0.2 percent down. France's CAC-40 was trading flat.
