In Asian markets today, South Korea’s Kospi surged 4.6 per cent, while Japan’s Nikkei 225 gained 2.1 per cent.
In European markets, Germany’s DAX was trading 0.4 per cent down, while London’s FTSE 100 added 0.1 per cent, when reports last came in.
Meanwhile, stock markets in the United States will remain closed tonight on account of a holiday.
