Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) Leh, in collaboration with the NSS Unit of EJM Government Degree College, Leh, organised “Khelo India Samvaad – Khel Ki Baat PM Ke Saath” at EJM Government Degree College, Leh.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation of around 250 students and youth, providing them an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on sports, youth development and nation-building.
The programme commenced with the virtual address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the nationwide Khelo India Samvaad initiative. The address provided youth across the country an opportunity to connect with the Prime Minister and reflect on India’s growing sporting ecosystem.
A major highlight of the programme along with PM virtual interaction, it was the Yuva Samvaad, during which participating youth shared their ideas, views and suggestions on strengthening the sports ecosystem and creating greater opportunities for young people.
The discussion focused on themes including improving the sports ecosystem in the country, nurturing talent for the 2036 Olympics, empowering youth for Viksit Bharat and building a Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.
The programme concluded with a presentation on the MY Bharat portal, highlighting opportunities available to young people for volunteering, experiential learning and youth-led activities. The participants were also encouraged to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 Quiz and actively engage with the MY Bharat platform.
