Army Chief General Manoj Pande today interacted with the Naval Commanders in New Delhi and provided a brief insight into the security situation along the borders. Addressing the Naval Commander Conference, General Manoj Pande highlighted the current operational environment, Indian Army initiatives towards transformation, joint pursuits with the Indian Navy and other contemporary military matters.

The three-day Naval Commanders Conference, which began yesterday, is the apex-level biannual event facilitating interaction between the Naval Commanders for deliberation and formulation of important policy decisions.
