In Punjab, the 19th Rozgar Mela was organised at two locations today — the Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala and Patiala Locomotive Works, Patiala — where appointment letters were distributed to 281 newly recruited candidates.

At RCF Kapurthala, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, while presiding over the programme, said that the Rozgar Mela has become a powerful national institution ensuring transparent, merit-based and time-bound recruitment.

He later handed over appointment letters to 93 new recruits. In Patiala, appointment letters were distributed to 188 newly recruited candidates in various departments.
