Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has called for launching the “Partners in Nation Building” programme from August 15 to involve every citizen in the development of the state and the country. Reviewing the programme at his camp office in Amaravati last night, the Chief Minister directed officials to make it a mass movement aimed at encouraging public participation in achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra by 2047.

Mr. Naidu called for people to hoist the national flag at their homes from August 13th to 15th as part of the programme and promote the spirit of “My Nation, Nation First”.  He said every citizen should be encouraged to contribute to nation building according to their capabilities. The Chief Minister stressed the need to involve youth and students in shaping the future of the State and the country.

He called for creating platforms for leadership development at the village level and reviving the spirit of voluntary public service. Mr. Naidu said people should not remain merely beneficiaries of government schemes but should become stakeholders in the development of Andhra Pradesh. He directed officials to organise activities that would harness the ideas and energy of youth towards nation building.
