Union Home Minister Amit Shah has commemorated the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) for completing its ten years of operation. In a social media post, Mr Shah underscored UPI as an exemplar of Prime Minister Modi’s vision of paving India’s journey of transformation through innovation. Hailing UPI as the world’s largest real-time payment system, he credited Digital India with empowering people with a swift, seamless and secure interface.
