Home Minister and Senior BJP Leader Amit Shah today hit out at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge over his alleged remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s father. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that this is not the first time that the Congress party has used abusive language against the family of Prime Minister Modi. The Home Minister alleged that the leaders of Congress party have hurled insults at Mr Modi’s revered mother and mocked his poverty. He further alleged that the Congress party keeps crossing the limits of indecency every day under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Mr Shah said that the persistent electoral defeats over the last 12 years have led to such deep-seated frustration and despair within the Congress party. The Home Minister claimed that the Congress party has lost its base among the general public and is now losing its hold even over its own party workers. He also claimed that whenever the Congress leaders have made vile remarks about Prime Minister Modi or his family, the public has given the Congress a fitting and sharp response.
