In Jammu and Kashmir, the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra resumed today after remaining suspended for six days due to inclement weather conditions. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, told Akashvani News that Yatra has been resumed from both Baltal and Pahalgam routes. The Yatris have been advised to strictly adhere to the advisories issued by the administration for a safe pilgrimage. Meanwhile, a fresh batch of 6,269 pilgrims left the Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu this morning.
