All 15 workers trapped in Gandhinagar building collapse rescued safely

In Gujarat, 15 workers trapped after a portion of an under-construction building collapsed in the Kudasan area of the capital, Gandhinagar, were rescued safely. The state government said there were no casualties after a war-footing rescue operation late at night.

Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, who visited both the accident site and Gandhinagar Civil Hospital, said that around 15 workers were trapped in the incident. Three of them were discharged after being found safe, while the remaining 12 were undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital.

The collapse occurred late in the evening at the construction site of a commercial building in Kudasan. A portion of the slab suddenly gave way, trapping workers beneath the debris. Local administration, police and fire brigade teams immediately launched a rescue operation using cranes and other modern equipment.
