Akashvani is celebrating India's G-20 presidency in a grand manner. A 50-day extravaganza commenced today in New Delhi at Rang Bhavan in Akashvani. Director-General of Akashvani Dr. Vasudha Gupta inaugurated the event. Speaking on the occasion, she said, Akashvani is becoming a powerful medium in bringing forward and preserving India's cultural tradition. The Director-General said, Akashvani is providing a platform to budding artists and youth through this event.
 
Various educational, cultural, literary, and artistic events will be held at Akashvani, Delhi NCR, and the Atari Border, revolving around the theme One Earth, One Family, One Future till 6th of September this year.
