Tourism Ministry signs MoU with Air India to promote India as preferred global tourism destination under Incredible India brand

The Ministry of Tourism has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air India to promote India as a preferred global tourism destination under the iconic Incredible India brand. The agreement was signed in New Delhi yesterday, in the presence of Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
 
The collaboration aims to leverage Air India’s extensive domestic and international network along with the Ministry’s destination-promotion initiatives to enhance India’s global tourism visibility. 
 
In a social media post, Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said, the partnership will leverage Air India’s extensive global network and India’s diverse tourism offerings to strengthen the country’s presence in key international markets. He said that the collaboration will include joint destination campaigns, promotion of stopover tourism, and exploration of initiatives such as a Visit India Pass.
 
Mr Shekhawat highlighted that the partnership will inspire more travellers from across the world to experience India’s timeless, diverse and unforgettable attractions.  Under the MoU, the Ministry and Air India will undertake joint promotional campaigns, co-branded destination marketing and tourism storytelling across digital and offline platforms.
