AIIMS CRE 2026 disrupted at two centres in Jaipur

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) today conducted the AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2026 nationwide. However, the examination was disrupted at two Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)-operated iON Digital Zone centers in Sitapura, Jaipur, due to power supply issues.

AIIMS New Delhi cancelled the examination at the two centres to safeguard the interests of affected candidates and maintain the integrity and fairness of the recruitment process. AIIMS informed that the re-examination for two thousand candidates registered at the two centres is scheduled on 7th September. AIIMS said the decision to re-conduct the exam has been taken in the interest of affected candidates and to ensure a fair, transparent and equitable recruitment process.

TCS has been instructed to submit a detailed report and preserve system logs, CCTV footage and control-room communications for a comprehensive assessment of the incident.
