Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh today. He attended the launch programme of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-4 in Ichhawar. He also laid the foundation stone for 36 roads approved under the scheme and also inaugurated several other development works.

Addressing the programme, Mr Chouhan said, the roads for which the foundation stones were laid today are targeted to be completed within one year. He also announced that a Krishi Vigyan Kendra, or agricultural science centre, will be opened in Ichhawar. Later, Mr Chouhan inaugurated the new building of the Government Sandipani Higher Secondary School in Bhairunda. In Gram Panchayat Kosmi, he also interacted with local residents and heard their problems and suggestions.
