He said, such initiatives improve workplace efficiency and facilitate the transition from traditional systems to advanced and modern technologies.
The Ministry of Defence said, the 14-storey multi-level parking facility uses fully automatic robotic (dolly)-type technology to create maximum parking space within the available land parcel. It said, the facility is 60 per cent more efficient in space utilisation than conventional parking systems and has been built at a cost of 45 crore rupees. The facility is also equipped with CCTV surveillance and a fire safety system. The Ministry added that the technology ensures minimum human intervention and zero vehicle emissions after vehicles enter the lift lobby.
