The 8th edition of the e-auction of gifts presented to the Prime Minister has been extended until 31st of October. The Culture Ministry said this edition features 30 different mementos showcasing the diverse dimensions of Delhi. The 30 mementos include nine photo frames, nine mementos, and six idols, sculptures and statues. The collection also includes two Delhi Metro models, a sports memorabilia item, religious objects, a painting, artworks and craft items, among others. The Ministry said that, from a student in Rohini to the Delhi Metro, the Legislative Assembly and the New Parliament, these mementos carry stories from across Delhi. The auction gives these memories a larger public purpose, with the proceeds going to the Namami Gange Project. The Ministry further noted that for auction dates, participation details and the complete catalogue, visit the official PM Mementos e-Auction portal: pmmementos.gov.in <http://pmmementos.gov.in>.
