Focused on the themes of peace, dignity, self-awareness and contentment, a five-day Peace Education Workshop concluded at the Auditorium of Government Degree College Poonch last evening.

 

Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma presided over the valedictory function as Chief Guest at the workshop organised by the district administration in collaboration with The Prem Rawat Foundation.

 

The workshop aimed at enabling participants to draw on inner resources for leading peaceful, productive and meaningful lives. 

 

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the Prem Rawat Foundation and urged participants to adopt the principles of peace, dignity and responsible choice in their workplaces so that these values may positively influence society at large.

 

The workshop saw participation from officers and officials across the Education, Health, Police and Social Welfare departments.
