29th National e-Governance Conference to begin in Jaipur

The 29th National e-Governance Conference will begin in Jaipur today. The two-day conference will be held at the Rajasthan International Centre and is being jointly organised by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, and the Government of Rajasthan.
 
The theme of this year’s conference is “Viksit Bharat 2047: AI-Enabled, Data-Driven and Secure Digital Governance”. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will inaugurate the event. An exhibition will also be inaugurated, and several digital governance initiatives and innovations of the Rajasthan Government will be launched during the conference.
 
On the second day, the National e-Governance Awards will be presented. Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, will also attend the conference. 
 
Total 2,700 delegates will participate in this conference, including representatives from more than 1,000 startups and over 400 academia. The first day will feature three plenary sessions and six breakout sessions. On the second day, three plenary sessions will be followed by the presentation of the National e-Governance Awards, marking the conclusion of the conference.
 
The discussions will focus on Artificial Intelligence, Deep Tech, Quantum Computing, Voice-First Solutions, Secure Digital Infrastructure, and other emerging technologies. The conference is expected to serve as a key platform for advancing inclusive, transparent, and citizen-centric digital governance. Jitendra Dwivedi, Akashvani News, Jaipur.
