The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), in collaboration with the Ladakh government, has launched a month-long in-person academic support programme. This programme is for students of Classes 10 and 12 in government schools across Ladakh. CBSE said that this programme is being conducted from 14th of this month to 14th of next month. It covers schools in Leh, Nubra, Zanskar, Kargil, Drass, Changthang, Sankoo Chiktan and other high-altitude areas. CBSE said that this initiative has been designed to strengthen students’ academic preparedness for the CBSE Board examinations through focused, classroom-based support.
Under the initiative, more than 250 experienced teachers and resource persons from CBSE-affiliated schools across the country have been nominated to conduct classes and provide academic guidance to students. The sessions cover Mathematics and Science for Class 10, and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics for Class 12. Students are also being guided on examination techniques, assessment strategies, time management and effective approaches to answering questions.
