17th Pension Adalat to be Held in New Delhi Tomorrow

Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh, will chair the 17th Pension Adalat in New Delhi tomorrow. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions informed that 897 long-pending grievances of super-senior pensioners and family pensioners are to be taken up for redressal. The ministry said that Dr. Singh will release flyers highlighting the success stories of the 16th Pension Adalat, which was held on 13th May of this year. A booklet containing Frequently Asked Questions on issues concerning family pensioners will also be released on the occasion.

The Ministry noted that the Pension Adalats have resolved 20,676 out of a total of 28,797 grievances on the spot across its previous 16 editions, since its inception in 2017, retaining a success rate of 71.79 per cent.
