Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will launch nationwide celebrations to commemorate “10 Years of PMSMA – A Decade of Care”, in New Delhi today. The campaign marks the completion of ten years of successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan. As part of the celebrations, awareness and outreach activities will be organised across States and Union Territories to encourage pregnant women and their families to avail themselves of the nine assured free services available under the scheme. On the occasion, a special 75 rupees Commemorative Coin and a five rupees Postal Stamp will also be released.
