After losing the first set, Bhambri and Popyrin staged a strong comeback in a hard-fought battle to secure the victory.

Meanwhile, veteran Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Croatian partner Ivan Dodig will face off against the British duo of Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool in another pre-quarterfinal this evening. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:40 PM IST.
