Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur today congratulated shooters Mehuli Ghosh, Ramita, and Ashi Chouksey on securing a silver medal at the Asian Games in the Women's 10m Air Rifle team event. In a social media post, Mr Thakur said TOPS scheme shooters delivered an impressive score of 1886 to begin the nation's campaign on a bright note. He said that Nari Shakti has made the nation proud again.

The Minister also congratulated the Rowing Olympian duo from the Indian Army, Arvind Singh and  Arjun Lal Jat for bringing home a silver medal in the light Men's Double Sculls category. He said their formidable partnership with their incredible strength, perfect sync, and determination has added another laurel to the nation.
