The Yachting Association of India (YAI) Senior National Championship 2024 concluded after intense competition at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC) in Mumbai. The event is held from 12-18 May. The championship featured all eight Olympic classes of boats and attracted 82 participants from 10 sailing clubs nationwide. A total of 94 races, including four medal races, determined the champions.

Vice Admiral Sanjay. J. Singh, AVSM, NM, presided over the closing ceremony and awarded medals to winners, encouraging young sailors to pursue excellence in international events. Teams from the Army and Navy dominated, securing the highest medal count.
