WPL 2025 Auctions: Deandra Dottin, Simran Shaikh G Kamalini & Prema Rawat return with highest bids

In the Women’s Premier League, 2025 auctions were held today, and Deandra Dottin, Simran Shaikh, G Kamalini, and Prema Rawat returned with the highest bids. The auction took place at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru, today. West Indies’ all-rounder Deandra, who was one of three players with a reserve price of 50 lakh rupees, was bought for 1.7 crore rupees by the Gujarat Giants.

 

The biggest story of the auctions was the big deals for uncapped, talented Indian players. Mumbai batter Simran emerged as the costliest uncapped player roped in by Gujarat Giants for 1.9 crore rupees.

 

For acquiring hard-hitting wicketkeeper-batter 16-year-old Kamalini, the Mumbai Indians shelled out 1.6 crore rupees. Uttarakhand all-rounder Prema was roped in by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for 1.2 crore Rs.

 

Delhi Capitals acquired Uttarakhand wicketkeeper Nandini Kashyap for her base price of 10 lakh Rs and uncapped India all-rounder N. Charani for 55 lakh rupees. South Africa all-rounder Nadine de Klerk was bought by Mumbai Indians for 30 lakh rupees. For the same price, UP Warriors picked Australia leg-spinner Alana King and also uncapped India all-rounder Akshita Maheshwari for 20 lakh rupees. Gujarat Giants picked England all-rounder Danielle Gibson for 30 lakh rupees.
