Women’s Cricket: South Africa set a target of 190 runs against India in first T20 International of three-match series.

In Women’s Cricket, South Africa has set a target of 190 runs against India in the first match of the three-match T20 International series at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday (5th July 2024) evening. Chasing the target, Indian women were at 26 for nil wickets in 3 overs when reports last came in. Earlier, India has won the toss and elected to bowl first.

This will be the final leg of South Africa’s tour to India, which has already seen three ODIs and a one-off test being played. Harmanpreet Kaur-led India have been too tough a side for the Proteas as the Laura Wolvaardt-led side have not been able to win a single match on the tour so far.

India clean-sweeped South Africa by 3-0 in the ODIs and then won the one-off test by 10 wickets.
