West Bengal: TMC-led govt accused of state-sponsored violence

In West Bengal, a four-member fact-finding committee of BJP has accused the ruling Trinamool Congress Party led government of state-sponsored violence. The committee which comprised of senior BJP leaders Biplab Kumar Deb, Ravishankar Prasad, Brijlal, and Kavita Patidar was formed to evaluate the incidents of political violence in West Bengal.

The committee today submitted its report to party chief J.P. Nadda. Divulging the findings of the report, BJP MP Biplab Kumar Deb alleged that a woman from a backward class was gangraped and later she was abandoned. He alleged, despite so much atrocity committed against the woman there was no FIR registered in the incident.
