West Bengal CEO Reports Injuries and Complaints After First Phase of Election

The Chief Electoral Officer CEO of West Bengal today held a press conference after the first phase of election.

 

CEO Ariz Aftab said that a person named Luv Sarkar under Rajpur PS of Coochbehar and another person named Ananta Barman were injured at Lal Bahadur Sastri School of Coochbehar in the morning. Both the injured are under treatment now.

 

CEO also informed that total 12 arrests have been made of which 10 are preventive and 2 are specific. Complaints received by Election Commission including from c- Vigil app have been addressed. From Coochbehar 296 complaints were received by the commission, from Alipurduar 162 complaints and from Jalpaiguri 125 complaints were received today under the first phase of voting in West Bengal.
