At least seven persons were killed and three injured in a coal mine blast at Birbhum district in West Bengal. The incident took place when preparation was ongoing for a blast at the Bhadulia coal mine in the morning. The injured are being treated at Siuri District Hospital.  Police are investigating the matter.
