Wayanad Landslides: Army personnel from MEG Bangalore reach Wayanad to help in relief and rescue operation

Army personnel from the Madras Engineering Group (MEG), Bengaluru are being rushed to help in the relief and rescue efforts in Wayanad, where a massive landslide during the wee hours of this morning claimed several lives. The MEG will help in the construction of an alternate bridge in the Chooralmala area, which has been washed away in flash floods. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan directed the use of drones and police dog squads to assist in the search and rescue efforts.
