In commemoration of the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Waltair Railway Division conducted the ‘Run for Unity’ at Visakhapatnam today.

Senior Divisional Personnel Officer and Senior Divisional Safety Officer led the gathering from DRM Office to Visakhapatnam Railway station junction and back. Officials, staff from various departments, sportspeople, and Civil Defence personnel participated in the Run for Unity.

On the occasion, DRM mentioned that Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the first Dy. Prime Minister of India and also the first Union Home Minister of India, has been credited with the Unification of India and provided the people an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and spirit of national integration.
