VP Jagdeep Dhankhar Lauds India’s Scientific Progress at CSIR Foundation Day

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today said India is on the way to regaining its past glory in the world of science. Presiding as the Chief Guest at the 83rd CSIR Foundation Day Celebrations in New Delhi, Mr. Dhankhar said that in the past, Bharat had scientific knowledge and had made the world proud. He said recognition for the scientific community has gone up in the last few years.

 

The Vice President said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s heart and soul are deeply in the scientific community. He said there is an ecosystem in place now where the scientific community can fully exploit their talents and contribute to the nation.

 

The Vice President lauded CSIR for firming up the foundation of a nation whose rise is unstoppable and incremental. He said today is an occasion for CSIR to unfold a roadmap to be more significantly involved with nations’s and the world’s rise.

 

On the occasion, the Vice President also inaugurated the ‘CSIR Thematic Exhibition 2024’ at NASC Complex. He planted a sapling in memory of his late mother, Kesari Devi, at the premises of the NASC Complex.
