VP Jagdeep Dhankhar addresses students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that education is the biggest medium to bring change and equality in society. Addressing the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Kajra in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan today, Mr. Dhankhar emphasised the importance of discipline, culture, and human development. Emphasising developing moral values in children at an early age, he said that promoting mutual brotherhood and discipline should be integral parts of children’s lives.

 

The Vice President said that the soul of the country is in the rural areas. He said that the country’s food provider farmer also lives in rural areas. He said that through institutions like Panchayat Raj and Nagar Palika, India has strengthened democracy at the grassroots level. Referring to the National Education Policy, the Vice President called it a “game-changer.” He said that after three decades, India has got a new education policy, which aims to make the students skilled. This policy will play an important role in making India developed by 2047. While making the students aware of the environment, he urged them to plant trees in the name of their grandparents.
