The Lok Sabha election is going on at brisk pace in the 14 constituencies in Karnataka. Akashvani’s correspondent reports that polling is in progress with no untoward incident so far.

Among prominent people, senior BJP leader B S Yediyurappa voted at Shivamogga and State minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar voted at Belagavi and Congress National President Mallikarjuna Kharge at Kalburagi constituency. There are 14 constituencies going to the polls in this phase of election in the state. 227 candidates are in fray.
