V Prez Jagdeep Dhankar addresses students at convocation ceremony of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar said that there should be dialogue, debate and discussion in Parliament but instead disturbance and destruction is taking place.  Shri Dhankar was addressing the students at the convocation ceremony of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh today. The Vice President also inaugurated the new campus of the university.

Expressing concern over the increasing uproar in Parliament, Shri Dhankhar said that this did not happen in the Constituent Assembly but they sought solutions to the problems. He said that the surprising thing is that even the media is not making any difference to this.

Referring to the commercialization of media, the Vice President said that it is important to give space to positive news in the media and this is not a praise for any political party. He said that if journalists keep development on their radar, development is certain to happen.

Highlighting the role of youth in the Amrit Kaal of the country, Shri Dhankhar said that with the creative and positive contribution of all of us, India is sure to become a world leader in 2047.

The Vice President awarded degrees to about four hundred and fifty students.
 
The state Public Relations Minister Rajendra Shukla were also present in the program.
