The report of the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand is available to the general public from today. Chairman of the Rules and Implementation Committee, Shatrughan Singh released the report of the Expert Committee Uniform Civil Code Uttarakhand. It is available in 4 volumes. The report of the Expert Committee is available on the website www.ucc.uk.gov.in.

It may be recalled that the Uttarakhand government passed the Uniform Civil Code Bill on the 7th of February after a discussion of about ten hours in the assembly and the UCC bill was approved by the president on the 12th of March.
