In Uttarakhand, light to moderate intermittent rains continue to lash several parts of the state today as well. In Garhwal and Kumaon regions, several roads are still blocked for vehicular traffic due to landslides triggered by heavy rain and efforts are being made on war footing to open them. 

On the other hand, the water level of all major rivers in the state has increased. However, rivers are flowing below the danger mark. On the other hand, the ongoing Kanwar and Chardham Yatra, continuing smoothly in the state. Meanwhile, the State Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in most parts of the state, while an orange alert of very heavy rains has been issued for Champawat, Pauri, Udham Singh Nagar, and Nainital districts.
