In Uttarakhand, the Badrinath National Highway in Chamoli district is blocked for road traffic for the third consecutive day today due to a landslide near Joshimath. However, the SDRF personnel are helping the pilgrims to cross the road safely on foot. On the other hand, the debris of a landslide that occurred yesterday near Patal Ganga Langsi Tunnel and Bhanerpani has been cleared and vehicular movement has started now.

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rain at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts tomorrow.
