Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024 Passed by UP Cabinet

The UP cabinet has passed the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024 today. Under this ordinance, stringent provisions have been made for punishment against violators, which include punishment from 2 years to life imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 1 crore. The Cabinet meeting chaired by CM Yogi Aditynath also passed the 42 other proposals.

 

Akashwani correspondent reports that the proposal of not getting anticipatory bail in cases of women, children and gangsters has also been approved. Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh informed that a temple museum will be built in Ayodhya at a cost of 650 crores, and other development work will be done for 100 crores under the CSR fund by Tata Sons. The tourism department will provide land on a lease of Rs 1 for this. Apart from that, a proposal for the Chief Minister’s Tourism Fellowship has also been approved. Tablets will be provided to the candidates in this. Apart from this, heliports will be built on the PPP model in Lucknow, Prayagraj and Kapilvastu. In the meeting, the cabinet approved the expansion of the boundaries of three big cities- Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Prayagraj. Many villages will be included in the Varanasi Development Authority, Gorakhpur Development Authority and Prayagraj Development Authority. Along with this, seven proposals of the Tourism Department were passed in the cabinet meeting. The proposal to allot free land to the Tourism Department near Shakumbhari Devi Temple was also passed. The proposal to lease Rahi Tourist House in Amethi, Bulandshahr, Barabanki, Sitapur has also been passed.
