U.S. stocks rose yesterday helped by optimism ahead of key inflation reports and as JP Morgan and other financial shares gained.
 
The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 0.9 percent, the S&P 500 index gained 0.7 percent and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.6 percent.
