US stocks closed higher yesterday trading in narrow ranges as investors digested a significant downward revision in payroll data and the release of minutes from the Federal Reserve’s latest meeting, reinforcing expectations for a rate cut in September.

 
Major US markets were trading in green. The Nasdaq Composite added 0.5 percent, S&P 500 was up by 0.4 percent, and Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.1 percent.
