The US share market ended lower on Thursday (14th March 2024) as Treasury yields climbed following the release of hotter-than-expected U.S. producer price inflation data.

 

At closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average index declined 0.35 percent and the S&P 500 index slipped 0.30 percent. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite index fell 0.3 percent.
