The US share indices closed lower yesterday. The three major stocks declined as Treasury yields rose along with oil prices and investors assessed prospects for the Federal Reserve's interest rate path. The Nasdaq Composite index fell 0.1 percent, The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.2 percent and the S&P 500 declined 0.4 percent.
