US Open Tennis, Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden lose men's doubles final against Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury in New York last night

In US Open Tennis, Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden lost the final match of men's doubles against Rajeev Ram-Joe Salisbury in New York last night. Indo-Australian pair Bopanna-Ebden made a dominating start in the summit clash by winning the first set but failed to cash in on the golden opportunity and lost to the British-American pair Ram-Salisbury 6-2, 3-6, 4-6.
In Women's Doubles, New Zealand-Canadian pair Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski defeated China's Wang Xinyu and Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei 6-1, 7-6 in first semi-final. German-Russian pair Laura Siegemund-Vera Zvonareva defeated American-Brazilian duo Jennifer Brady-Luisa Stefaniin 6-4, 6-1 in second semifinal. 

In Men's Singles, second seed Novak Djokovic defeated American unseeded Ben Shelton 6-3, 6-2, 7-6 in first semi-final yesterday. Defending Champion Carlos Alcaraz will meet former US Open champion Daniil Medvedev in the other semi-final this morning.

The Women's Singles final is slated between Belarusian second seed Aryna Sabalenka and sixth seed American player Coco Gauff tomorrow. In Mixed Doubles, American pair of Austin Krajicek and Jessica Pegula will face the pair of Kazakhstan's Anna Danilina and Finland's Harri Heliovaara in the Final today.
