US Open: Indo-Australian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden enter Men's Doubles Semifinals

In US Open Tennis, India's Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden have reached semifinal of Men's Doubles, beating American pair of Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow in the quarter-final by 7-6, 6-1 in New York. They will face the French pair of Nicolas Mahut and Pierre-Hugues Herbert tonight for a place in the final. The pair of Austin Krajicek of America and Ivan Dodig of Croatia defeated HugoNys from Monaco and JanZieliński of Poland  6-4, 2-6, 6-3.

In women's doubles, the match between the pair of L Siegemund of Germany and V Zvonareva of Russia and V Azarenka of Belarus and Brazilian B Haddad Maia is underway. In another quarterfinal, the American pair of Coco Gauff and J Pengula will compete against S Hsieh of Taiwan and X Wang of China. Earlier, the pair of G Dabrowski of Canada and E Routliffe of New Zealand beat Canadian L Fernandez and T Townsend of USA  2-6,6-3,7-6.
 

In women's singles, second seed Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka will lock horns with  23rd seed Qinwen Zheng of China, while  17th seed Madison Keys of USA will take on Ninth seed Marketa Vondrousova of Czech Republic.
