The S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell yesterday amid below-expected quarterly results of Tesla and Netflix. The Dow managed to climb for a ninth straight day.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained half a percent while the S&P 500 index fell 0.7 percent and the Nasdaq Composite index declined 2.1 percent.
