In light of the government’s decision to include the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) in the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened a new application window today for new applicants.

This window will remain open until the 22nd of next month. It said the candidates who have already applied need not apply again. To give sufficient time to the aspirants of the Engineering Services Examination 2025 to prepare for the exam, the Commission has also decided to postpone the ESE (preliminary) and ESE (main) exams for 2025. The ESE (preliminary) will now be held on the 8th of June, and the ESE (main) will now take place on the 10th of August next year.
