In Uttar Pradesh, on the occasion of World MSME Day today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the distribution of loans worth 20,000 crore rupees to MSME units in Lucknow. The Chief Minister also distributed toolkits to beneficiaries of various schemes. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Yogi said that MSMEs play a significant role in industrial development as different regions of the state are producing distinct products. He highlighted that, after agriculture, MSMEs provide the most employment opportunities. Through the One District, One Product scheme, Uttar Pradesh has gained recognition worldwide.
