UP Budget Doubles in Seven Years, CM Yogi Adityanath Highlights Economic Growth & Enhanced Public Spending

The Uttar Pradesh state budget has doubled in the last seven years. The budget has been increased according to the needs of the state. As a result, the state’s GDP and per capita income have doubled compared to the years 2015-16.  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while replying in the legislative assembly today, said that the budget has been increased because women, farmers, and the underprivileged have been thought about in the budget.

Akashwani correspondent reports that, while speaking in the legislative assembly, CM Yogi said that by using the budget correctly, the benefits of the government schemes have been delivered to every needy person without any discrimination. He added that within the last four months, 44 percent of the budget has been released and more than 20 per cent has been spent. The result of the work done in the last seven years is that today Uttar Pradesh is not the seventh but the second largest economy of the country. He said that this state has the potential to become the leading economy of the country. The perception towards Uttar Pradesh has changed in the last seven years. New employment opportunities have been created in the state. Now no one looks at the people of Uttar Pradesh with suspicion.
