Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar addresses 1st India-Japan Skill Connect Conference

Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar has described the India-Japan partnership as pivotal for the future of Asia, Indo-Pacific region, and the world. Virtually addressing the first India-Japan Skill Connect Conference held in Tokyo at the Indian Embassy, he highlighted the ongoing transformative shifts in the global landscape due to digitization and technology. The Minister emphasized the significance of trusted partnerships in a digitized world, particularly in the context of emerging technologies such as Artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and electronics. Mr. Chandrasekhar also reaffirmed the government's commitment to collaborating with Japanese industries to establish skill hubs tailored to their needs, including language skills. He said, this approach aims to equip Indian professionals to seamlessly integrate into the Japanese workforce without additional certification or training.
